Fishers & Farmers Partnership For the Upper Mississippi River Basin is a National Fish Habitat Partnership organization. Its focus is landowner leadership for healthy farms and fish habitat.
In a labyrinth of conservation and agricultural organizations the site’s work is to make this focus clear. It must represent the diversity of a five-state area, solid science and true collaboration between farmers and conservation organizations. The group’s work touches one of the most socially- and economically-charged land use matters of our time. Here we have an opportunity to present not only information, but also real voices of the region speaking about places they care about, actions they’re taking, and their desire to work with others for the common good.
